The big day has finally arrived and all the training has paid off as Laura, Maddy, and Karen set off on their 100km walk from Putney to Henley on Thames. Cookham 78km 8:15AM

 

 

Walking through the night and into the morning Operation Friendship arrived at Cookham near Maidenhead at 8:15AM the 78km.

 

 

Halfway!! 50km 9:20pm

 

At 9:20pm Maddy, Laura and Karen have hit the 50km Rest point at Runnymede. Time for a well earned dinner then they will then set off again walking through the night.
